ByPass - Forum de la Création Musicale #2

Concerts, conferences, workshops, master-class in Toulouse

Presented by éOle in collaboration with IsdaT, the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Toulouse, Music'Halle and Espace JOB

Building on the success of the first edition, the second ByPASS Forum intends to strengthen the links between a dynamic of artistic creation and the pedagogical work that is its condition, and to confirm its international dimension. It is from SeaM (Studio für Elektroakustische Musik) of the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt and the Bauhaus University of Weimar, as well as from the Composition Department of the University of Montreal that the artists invited to this forum will come to meet the students of the IsdaT, the students of the Composition Department of the Conservatoire de Toulouse and the students of Music'Halle. Workshops, conferences, and concerts combining electroacoustic music, instrumental and vocal music, written and improvised music, repertoire works and works in creation, will mark this showcase of young international musical creation.

Works by Ana Sokolovic, Robin Minard, Michel Pascal, Luc Ferrari, Jonty Harrison, and composition students from the Université de Montréal, the SeaM in Weimar, and the CRR in Toulouse. Improvisation sequences coordinated by Denis Badault.

Sound direction: François Donato, Bertrand Dubedout, and the composers.
Instrumental works performed by students of the Institut Supérieur des Arts de Toulouse (Pôle Supérieur Musique et Danse). Solo oboe: Agnès Demeulenaere.
